My work as a writer is concerned with attention, perspective, imagination and quiet.

My writing moves between life writing, poetry, fragments, portraits and creative nonfiction. I'm drawn to the possibilities of selection, omission and arrangement; to creating impressions through carefully chosen words, and to what might be left unsaid.

I write about lives, moments, memories and the ordinary things that sometimes reveal themselves to be extraordinary.

Alongside my own writing, I undertake selected ghostwriting commissions and am developing a Portrait Writing practice.

I continue to study writing and literature through a Master of Arts at Deakin University.

Much of my work is less an argument than an invitation: to pay attention, seek perspective, dream intentionally, and value quiet.
